Kasbah du Toubkal The kasbah is actually an old fort renovated into a small hotel and restaurant with a spectacular view of the Atlas Mountains. Jbel Toubkal, itself, is the highest peak in North Africa at 13,700 feet. The kasbah is only accessible by foot or mule as we found out the hard way.

The scenery was spectacular. Spencer, Larry, and I took dozens of photos. The town of Imchil where our van was parked and the mules appeared. Neil contemplates the climb ahead.
Our great driver, Khaled, teaches Larry and Spencer how to pour tea. The mule ride begins. We're off to another "once in a lifetime experience".
As always, the food is a major part of the trip. In this case, the Kasbah did not disappoint. The traveler at his leisure - Larry enjoys the rooftop salon at the Kasbah. We could have put a 100 pictures of the scenery here.
